Random corruption has a debilitating impact on a community.? When those entrusted with our money steal from us, the blow to our confidence in ?the system? is palpable.? Miami Beach?s community health center will undergo a series of changes, especially among top administrators, in the wake of what the agency calls a $7 million misappropriation of taxpayer dollars.? We must teach our leaders that positions of public trust are not licenses to steal.? They must be severely punished when these allegations are proven to be true.
