New exhibit

Cemetary Tour
In conjunction with the ?Customs of Death and Dying? display, the CCHS will host a tour of two local county cemeteries and visit the tombs of the famous and not so famous throughout county history.
This tour will start from the CCHS at noon on Saturday, Oct. 13. Visitors can view the display, then caravan to the cemeteries. The event is free to members and $1 per person for non-members.
??How to Read a Tombstone (or ?Written on Stone?): Also in conjunction with ?Death and Dying,? the CCHS will lead a family day at the Waconia Public Cemetary. This event will focus on tombstones: their symbols, messages, and what they can tell us about those buried beneath them.
See some unusual headstones and those of a few history making Carver County residents.
This tour will begin at the cemetery at 10 a.m. The cost is free to non-members and $1 per person for non-members.
